Most of the teachers are not good in editing documents. When it comes to creating a complex document like survey, quiz or any other kind of forms teachers find themselves helpless. In this video I will convert a simple quiz to a beautiful quiz.

My Experience with Google Plus Hangout for Online Classes

I might not be the right person to write an article on this topic because currently I am exploring Google plus hangout to teach students online. I am using hangout from past 7 days and taken 6 classes till today.

Before trying Google plus hangout I have a look at some other paid software and services but didn't convince. Some services require very high speed internet connection; in some services students were not able to pick up the voice properly; some was not allowing recording and storing of the class etc.

Sometimes this simple process of taking screen shot becomes time consuming and makes us dependent on some proprietary or heavy software. Most of the teachers use MS Paint to edit the screen shot and some use Photoshop.Today I will tell you about a tool that is made especially for taking a screenshot and annotate it.

Make Interactive Web-Based Exercises using Hot Potatoes

How can I create web based exercise or quizzes for my students? This question is very common among the teachers who want to incorporate technology in teaching.

I was also seeking answers to this question when I was new in the educational technology arena. I found a very useful software that I use frequently and recommend to others also.

In order to use this tool you don't need to know any programming language. The exercises build using this tool are compatible with W3C standards. This tool is freeware but not an open source.

I came to know about this blog when I was searching the web for the tips to make good PowerPoint presentation. Once I landed here I couldn't stop myself to read more and more blog posts.
